Torrents Available btjunkie.org Very Bizarre Movie. This was my favorite movie when I was 6 years old. It’s almost impossible to find it anywhere and I only managed to find a copy out of dumb luck when I found it at a closing sale at a library. I later found a cleaner copy on eBay and have since recorded it to digital format. This aired on HBO several times from 1982 to 1988. Movie is out of print and very difficult to find copies of.

The X-Men return with a fury today, promising some great retro mutant action (I love me some retro mutant action). After two bad movies (X-Men 3 and X-Men Origins: Wolverine), X-Men: First Class is receiving rave reviews. Our criteria was simple – the movie has to feature a superhero, but doesn’t have to be based on a comic book. Vice versa, movies based on comic books but that don’t feature superheroes (like Ghost Town), don’t qualify. So, what the hell are you waiting for? Read on…

No. 11. Spider-Man (2002)

Following the success of X-Men two years earlier, Sony and Marvel unleashed hell upon the box office with the well-reviewed Sam Raimi movie Spider-Man. The movie is a bit dated – especially the graphics – and it’s a little too cheery for this day and age, but Spider-Man is still one of the best superhero movies of the 21st century.

No. 10. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010)

Michael Cera is uberfied in the visual orgasm Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, a criminally overlooked action-comedy that is one of the most entertaining movies on this list. Some may argue he’s not a superhero, but he’s got super powers, defeats a super villain and gets a girl way out of his league. What’s not super about that?
